Drizzle in fruit salads

Add to your favourite fruit salad for extra depth and flavour. Pairs very well with grapes, melon, pears, berries, cherries, and peaches. Try adding a mixture of dried fruit, nuts, or shaved coconut into the salad for extra texture.

De-glaze meat dishes

De-glaze your pan when cooking  chicken, shrimp, and pork to impart a rich sweet and sour flavour to your meat. Finish with flaked salt and cracked pepper. Just before the meat is done cooking simply turn the heat down to low, pour in some of the balsamic into the pan to lift all those delicious  sticky to form a thick sauce. Let it bubble for a minute then transfer meat onto plate drizzling the de-glazing liquid over top.

Dress your green salad

Drizzle over leafy green salads. Pairs well with baby spinach, green lettuce, and watercress. Try dressing your baby spinach salad with crumbled goat cheese, sliced green apple, raisins, and walnut halves. Finish with a generous drizzle of EVOO, white balsamic and flacked salt. Glaze roast or grilled meats

Use as a glaze for roast chicken, ham, or pork roast. Simply combine this balsamic with your favourite ground spices, salt and pepper then coat your favourite meat with it before roasting in the oven. For and extra kick try adding a grainy or Dijon mustard to the glaze mixture.

A unique addition to homemade condiments

Whenever making homemade jams, chutneys, and relishes add this balsamic to your stewing ingredients for a unique sweet and sour flavour. Good pairing options for this balsamic include strawberries, mango, peaches, red peppers, onions, green tomatoes and tomatillos.

Try drizzling this white balsamic over vanilla ice cream, cheesecake, or peach cobbler for a unique dessert idea.

Dress your salads

Drizzle over your salad alongside an EVOO. Works extremely well on green leaf salads containing fresh berries. Simply season with salt and pepper and garnish with slivered almonds.

Great on simple fruit for dessert

Drizzle over fresh fruit like your favourite berries or fresh peaches. Top it off with some crème fraiche or whipped cream for a simple dessert. Also fantastic over grilled peaches or baked apples garnished with walnuts.

Make a fantastic summer drink

Try pouring 1-2 teaspoons in a glass then top it off with club soda and a few ice cubes.  For an extra special treat try using this balsamic and some brown sugar to rim your glass. Finally drop in a few fresh blueberries or raspberries. Try adding white wine to the mix for a twist on a white wine spritzer.

Use to marinade chicken and pork

Simply combine this balsamic with EVOO, Dijon mustard, chopped garlic, shallots, salt and pepper. For an extra kick try adding grated cinnamon and nutmeg to the marinade. Let the meat rest in the marinade for at least 2 hours before cooking.

Finish your grilled fish and seafood

Pour a finishing drizzle over grilled shrimp, scallops, or white fish. Let sit for a couple minutes. Add a final sprinkle of flaked salt and cracked black pepper.

Add to your Mexican favourites

This balsamic goes great with Mexican dishes. Use as a topping on chicken and shrimp fajitas or fish and shrimp tacos for a tangy sweet note.  Pairs wonderfully with smokey chipotle sauces or hot chilies.

Baste on chicken and shrimp before grilling

Give chicken and shrimp big flavour by simply basting them with this balsamic vinegar prior to cooking. Re-coat halfway through cooking. Season with salt and pepper then fry, grill or bake.

Pairs very well with melon, pineapple, mango, apples, pears, and grapes. For an interesting but delicious twist, squeeze in some fresh lime juice and a sprinkle of flaked sea salt.

For a refreshing drink, pour 1-2 teaspoons of this balsamic in a glass then top it off with cold club soda.  Also, create a great cocktail with the addition of white rum, tequila or even White wine. You can use this balsamic to create a rim for your glass using sugar and sea salt.

Use to glaze turkey or ham

Simply brush this balsamic vinegar onto your meat before cooking it in the oven.  Brush over it again at least once more during cooking for a rich flavour. Try roasting some root vegetables alongside the ham or turkey. The aromatic juices are very complimentary to carrots, onions, turnips, parsnips, and more!

  Makes for a festive cocktail

Just 1 or 2 teaspoons in a glass topped off with white wine makes for a great holiday spritzer. Throw in a few fresh cranberries for the complete look. Also try adding this balsamic to your hot apple cider drink for a decidedly festive touch. The possibilities are endless!

Drizzle over roasted root vegetables

Fantastic drizzled over carrots, squash, parsnips, or potatoes before roasting.  Try cutting into even cubes a mix of root vegetables, season with salt and pepper, drizzle with cranberry pear balsamic and roast in a hot oven.  Also, delicious with the addition of a dusting of nutmeg and cinnamon.  Serve with roast meats or with a salad.

Drizzle over your kale or spinach salad

Try dressing your dark leafy green salads with this balsamic and some EVOO. Add goat cheese, brie, or blue cheese  for luxurious taste and texture. Finish with slivered almonds or chopped walnuts and a sprinkling of flaked salt and cracked pepper.

Makes for a tasty addition to healthy breakfast classics

Try drizzling this balsamic over yogurt, fruit and granola or add it to your oatmeal either as its cooking or as a finishing drizzle. For an extra delicious oatmeal recipe, cook oatmeal in almond or soy milk, add raisins, honey, walnuts, and a light dusting of cinnamon. Finish with a fine drizzle of cranberry pear balsamic.
